We have made it to 3 weeks. Or should I say... baby made it to 3 weeks, dispite living with two totally impressionable parents. Baby is 4.4kg and growing fast.

On one of the forums I suggested that there really should be a "Paranoid Parents" Support Group, because really... what colour should poop be?

Ok, just a warning: I am going to be discussing poop... so if it's not cute for you, or something you need to worry about, then maybe we will just see you again next week...

You know... this is getting ridiculous. Somebody should fire somebody over at the FDA. Maybe President Obama can help the world by doing this as his first act as President of the United States of Greed.

I have read up on BPA, and study after study after study says we should really be staying away from this ingredient in plastics. But nooo.... The FDA still deems it as safe. do yourself a favour and read my rant about the latest hearings the FDA had on the matter, where opposing scientists were given no more than 3-minutes to state their case.

Everybody was baffled by that one, until earlier this week, when it came to light that FDA's Sub-comitee chairman investigating the BPA issue, co-directs a research centre that just received a $5,000,000 donation from a pro BPA activist. The FDA says there is no conflict of interest... really?!

Well, it's two weeks since baby was born, and I am telling you, it's an eye-opener!!! I honestly don't know how single parents do this. I think I have now said it to every person I know, but just to make sure, I am going to type it up, and archive it: We are two parents, both on maternity/paternity leave, and we are struggling!

Don't get me wrong, baby is a little wonder... really... very easy, eats drinks, poops, redo from start. what can be more difficult? I'll tell you: DOUBT

I am learning all about fatherhood... It's an interesting concept. Essentially, in the blink of an eye, your whole life changes into something else. Priorities that was essential to day to day living (like checking e-mail) takes a distant second, or third, place all of a sudden, and taking care of that little fragile bundle is numero uno... the rest can wait.

But he is not so fragile, is he? I have come to realize that in life, as in comedy, timing is everything, and I don't have it.
