Doughnuts PDF Print E-mail

So I wrote off the bump I noticed at 8 weeks to the extra doughnut I ate on behalf of the little one.  It was real tasty with white icing and how could I have said ‘no’ when the baby asked me so nicely to enjoy one on his/her behalf?  I will do anything for my children!

Now, at 12 weeks, there is a small bump, but you have to look real carefully.  This is the time during pregnancy when people are not sure whether you are actually pregnant, or whether you just ate too many doughnuts.  So it’s best to arch your back slightly, and perhaps even place your hand in your side or back and waddle slightly.  Then they will know for sure that you are in fact pregnant!  For a more dramatic effect, you can even let out a sigh when you sit down.

My diet has improved a lot over the past couple of weeks but sometimes I get ‘tired’ of eating.  I think the baby is experiencing a growth spurt this week because I am truly very hungry.  So at 12 weeks, my diet pretty much looks something like this:
6.00am – Vomifene nausea tablet with a sip of water, consumed by lifting the head only slightly off the pillow.  Too much water lying down is not a good thing.
6.01am – 3 to 8 Marie Biscuits, depending on how loudly my tummy is rumbling, consumed, still lying down.
7.00am – Bowl of Bran Flakes consumed NOT lying down… that just doesn’t want to work!
9.00am – 2 Health rusks
11.00am – 1 Slice of Toast with an egg
2.00pm – 2 Health rusks
5.00pm – Something filling… whatever I feel like / can find
6.00pm – Vomifene tablet with a fizzy drink (I know fizzy drinks are not advised but it makes you feel better)
7.00pm – 2 Pro Vitas or Salti Cracks with cheese to trick my stomach into thinking food is on the way
8.00pm – Supper (chicken / lamb / pasta / mince / rice etc)

Thank goodness I don’t have a reaction to meat anymore although I am not too sure about pork.  And spicy foods are a definite No! No! Not that it has ever been a Yes! Yes!

Saving the best for last… We just received news that Our Visas to Canada have been APPROVED!  It has been my dream to write this sentence into this blog since the first week, 8 weeks ago already!  So my next blog might be delayed slightly, but will be brought to you directly from Merritt - British Columbia, Canada.
